Quality & compliance

Quality, transparency and responsible commercialization

Quality and consumer trust are fundamental to our business.

Our quality commitment

Quality starts at the source.

We work with manufacturing partners that maintain appropriate quality systems and manufacturing standards applicable to their products and operations.

For dietary supplements, U.S. regulations establish specific current good manufacturing practice requirements under 21 CFR Part 111.

We also recognize the importance of appropriate product labeling and responsible marketing communications. Our objective is to provide products supported by appropriate specifications, documentation and quality-control processes.

Our approach

Our supplier-selection process focuses on:

  • Manufacturing capabilities
  • Product specifications
  • Ingredient quality
  • Quality-control procedures
  • Manufacturing standards
  • Product testing and documentation
  • Packaging and labeling requirements
  • Supply-chain reliability
  • Regulatory documentation

We work to establish transparent and long-term relationships with qualified manufacturing partners.

Responsible marketing

Science-based. Transparent. Consumer-focused.

We believe nutritional products should be marketed responsibly. Our product communications are designed to focus on appropriate nutritional, wellness and structure/function information rather than disease-treatment claims.

Under FDA rules, certain structure/function claims must be truthful and not misleading, be substantiated, carry the applicable disclaimer, and be notified to FDA within the required timeframe.

We do not position dietary supplements as products intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease.

The information presented on this website is for general informational purposes and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
